Air

If he should die before I wake

stars would cry and I would break,

Flakes of laughter I would cry

Praying to be all a lie.

Now, he looks for seas within

To repent my lonely sin…

“My companion, my life

Adorne grace, and be my wife. ”

“I need space, to find my feet

Breathing harshly as I greet

playful kisses in the street,

drowning noise with your heartbeat. ”

Breathe a life that is not yours,

shout until your voice is coarse!

Just stay here, and subside

to the feelings you’ve denied.

It’s alright, the world’s secure…

painting reasons to obscure,

as I ask my life to sort

all my heart into support.
